B. Reading
1. Find a book that uses some of the target words. Read the book with each other and allow the person to say the target word with their device.
2. Read the first half of the PowerPoint to the person. During the second half allow the person to say "in ________" or "on __________" using their device to correctly answer the question. During the first part of the PowerPoint you may also want to stop reading when you reach a target word and allow them to say the word on their device.
C. Writing
1. Connect the device to a computer with a USB cable or Blue Tooth module. Let the person practice writing their target words into a word document.
2. Do the same activity with the PowerPoint, only this time allow them write the target words on the computer. Make the font as large as you need to for the person to see. Print out these words. Send them home as a note, or post on a class bulleting board!
D. Generalization

3. Speak phrases like "put in box" and "get in car" while doing every day or play activities. Model and teach with the device.
4. Play a game with a suitcase or sport bag of clothing. Take out an item and ask the person, "Should I put this on, or put it back in the bag?" Accept short answers like "put in" or "put on" Model and prompt if needed. Let the person say a name to tell another person to put on the item. "Mom put on" or "Mom put on hat". The length of the phrase depends on the person's ability.
