Lesson Title Description
Using "was" and "were" The student will use was or were to complete each sentence. The activity is designed to give immediate feedback as to whether or not they got the correct answer. Preview
Future Tense In this activity, the student will use their device to fill in the future tense of each verb. Each phrase will begin with 'I am going to' and then your verb. Illustrations, sound effects and animations are used help the student figure out what verb to use. Hints are provided if needed. Preview
Possessive Nouns Students will learn what a possessive noun. They will first explore some examples of using an apostrophe to show possession. They will then get to practice finishing the sentence with the correct possessive form. Sound effects and animations are used to illustrate each example. Preview
He, She & They He, she, they are taught using a fill-in-the-blank activity. Students will fill in the correct pronoun to complete the sentence. Animations and sound effects help to illustrate each example.
Verbs in the Present Time In this activity, the learner will practice using present-tense singular and plural verb forms correctly. Motivating animations and sound effects are used to illustrate each example. Preview
Verb Agreement This activity created by Elissa Errick. This activity targets subject/verb agreement for commonly used verbs. The student is presented a fill-in-the-blank sentence with the verb missing. They can use their device to enter the text and then read it back to be sure that the sentence is correct. All images are from the Hemera Photo Clip Art package of 100,000 and must be purchased to re-use in other activities. Preview
