Lesson Title Description
Expressing Negatives In this activity, the student will change each pronoun phrase to the negative phrase. They can check their answer when they are through. Click on each yellow pronoun phrase button to hear the correct answer. Preview

Is and Are This activity provides the student with a variety of fill-in-the-blank sentences using "is" and "are". Motivating sound effects and animations are used to keep the student motivated. Preview
Descriptive Words with Icons This activity was adapted from the original activity by Laurie Bouchard. This activity was designed to teach the concept and usage of adjectives. Students view a picture and then use their device to describe the photo. Pictures are from www.pics4learning.com. Preview
Adjectives with Icons This activity provides the student with a variety of fill-in-the-blank sentences. Students can use variety of descriptive adjectives to complete the sentences. Multiple words can be used. Toolbars are provided to give the students ideas of possible vocabulary. Preview
Using "is" & "are" Lesson 3 This activity allows the student to practice using the simple linking verbs "is" or "are". Things that are the color red are used to illustrate the concept. Preview
