| Over-Under | This activity was adapted from the original by Merrie Smithson. Each set begins with a page that teaches the concept, then shows the icon sequence and gives the student an opportunity to practice saying that preposition with his / her device. Sequences may vary depending on what level of Unity you are using. The student can then go to the next page to answer a question about the picture. The student can answer with a single word (over, under), a phrase (over the horse, under the horse), or a complete sentence (The ball is over the horse., The ball is under the horse.) depending on their goals. | Plural Nouns | This activity helps to illustrate the concept that two or more things require the addition of the letter "s". Students use their device to add the needed text to tell whether the picture is singular or plural. They can also check their work. Hints are provided if needed to provide for independence. Preview |
