Language Lesson Plans
Language Lesson Plans are designed to guide you through certain language development milestones as you teach Unity. Each lesson plan contains a target language outcome, a short list of vocabulary words, suggested objectives, ideas for teaching activities, and links to smart charts with the Unity icons. There are smart charts for each Unity program so you know how to model the target words for each lesson in Unity.
Language Materials Library
The best therapy materials from PRC's Teaching Materials Exchange have been selected to support learning in each of the language stages. These materials provide extra practice along with fun games, books, and Power Point activities.

The Unity Curriculum
The Unity Curriculum is a new teaching tool written by Jean Walsh, a special educator, especially for teaching the icon sequences in Unity with an emphasis on how to teach the metaphors associated with the icons. This book is available in two versions, one for Unity 60 Sequenced and one for Unity 84 Sequenced.
Resources for Classroom Teachers
Classroom teachers can be a great help to a student learning language through AAC. The articles here include many helpful tips for teachers who are beginning to teach and learn Unity®. Everyone wants that student with the AAC device to be a successful communicator; however the process is not always simple. PRC consultants want teachers to know that we support you.
